Cybersecurity, data and privacy continue to evolve at a breakneck pace – join us for three hours of CLE credit as we take a deep dive on these critical issues!

3:00 - 3:30 PM - Registration & Introductions

3:40 - 4:30 PM - Cybersecurity and the Courts: An Update and Guide to Navigating the New Litigation Paradigm Presented by Charles River Associates

Cyber Litigation is changing rapidly as a result of new, large, and high profile data breaches (as a survey of the leading cases will show), increased attention from US regulators, and new regulation in Europe.  One result may be more shareholder derivative actions at the same time that data breach class actions and regulatory enforcement multiply.  Business-to-business litigation could also increase, requiring a sharper focus on partner and vendor contract terms.  Insurance coverage gaps and disputes will also come into play.  Inside counsel will need to learn to manage all of these aspects of the new Cyber Litigation landscape to stay ahead.
