Cancellation Policy

If you would like a full refund for an event, you must contact ACC New York City in writing via email to the Executive Director at [email protected] and advise of cancellation (7) business days prior to the event.  Refund requests must be received by the stated deadline to be eligible and must be made by the attendee or credit card holder. Cancellations received after the above deadline will not be issued a refund.  Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event. Refunds will be issued by check.

Additionally, ACC New York City has the right to cancel an event for any reason. If ACC New York City does cancel an event, all paid registrants will be offered a full refund by check, or they will be offered credit towards a future event.

No Show Policy

Please note that although we strive to keep Chapter educational and social events generally free of charge to our valued members when members register for an event and then do not attend without notice, it hinders the ability of the Chapter and our sponsors to plan and may result in a waste of food or other resources. Please try to attend events for which you have registered and to provide reasonable advance notice if you know you will be unable to attend. If a member is twice unable to provide the chapter with 24 hours’ notice of cancellation for a free program for which he or she registered, a $25 fee will be required upon registering for subsequent programs that are free to other members.

To cancel your attendance at a Chapter event, email Amy Adams at [email protected] with your name and the program you wish to be removed from no less than 24 hours in advance. We thank you for your consideration and cooperation.

Photography Policy

Your registration and attendance at ACC NYC events indicates your consent to be filmed and/ or photographed and to the use of your image, without payment of any kind, for use in program(s) and for other promotional/ editorial activities of the Association of Corporate Counsel - New York City Chapter (ACC-NYC) for future use in any and all media, now known or hereafter created.

When you participate in an ACC New York City event, photography, audio and/or video recording may occur. By participating in the event, you grant ACC NYC and other entities as ACC NYC may designate from time to time (“ACC NYC Parties”) the right to create, use, distribute, broadcast, edit, or otherwise disseminate the photography, audio and/or video recording from the event that contain recordings of you or your likeness (collectively “Recordings”) without any further review or approval from you, in whole or in part, throughout the world, in perpetuity, in any and all media now known or hereafter developed. This grant to the ACC NYC Parties includes, but is not limited to, the use of the Recordings either alone or together with supporting materials, such as video or supporting information.
