Looking for a blueprint for everyday workplace negotiation? Join the ACC-NYC Women’s Group for a negotiation workshop led by Jamie Lee, leadership and negotiation coach for ambitious women. In this fully interactive workshop, Jamie will provide negotiation insights, strategies, and stories that she has shared with leading organizations such as JPMorgan Chase, the UN Commission on the Status of Women, Catalyst Conference, and more.

Participants will:

  • Enhance communication skills so they can express the value they bring as a benefit to others and have successful problem-solving and value-creating conversations.

  • Gain confidence and skill in leading, influencing, and negotiating in mutually beneficial ways that sidestep gender blowback by learning the vocabulary and strategies of interest-based negotiation that is tailored to the needs of professional women.

  • Practice techniques and skills for transformational leadership (elicit respect and pride; communicate effectively, empower and problem solve in flexible, creative ways) so they can lead with authentic power when dealing with sticky situations, difficult people, and negative emotions, and enhance their reputation, relationships, and negotiation results.

  • Craft their unique value proposition, or Stand Out Statements, that expresses their benefit as a value to others.

Jamie Lee is a leadership and negotiation coach for women on the rise. Born in South Korea, Jamie first learned the value of speaking up from the example of her mother, who single-handedly raised three daughters while running a small business as an immigrant in America. Jamie calls herself a pragmatic negotiation geek, relentless optimist, and student of psychology and communication dedicated to helping women negotiate and lead so they can thrive. She has led hundreds of workshops on mutual-win negotiation strategies, self-advocacy, and transformative leadership for leading organizations in tech, finance, healthcare, and diplomacy. As a coach, she works with ambitious women who desire to make a positive impact on the world but are thwarted by lack of communication skills, strategy, and confidence.
